Manifestation contre le cargo saoudien "Bahri Yanbu" à Cherbourg
Le 6 février 2020, une centaine de personnes, associations, syndicats et partis politique se sont rassemblés pour protester contre l'arrivée du cargo saoudien, le Bahri Yanbu, suspecté de charger des armes et des les utiliser contre des civils yemenites dans la guerre au Yémen. Rassemblés pour la paix, contre la vente d'armes et la guerre au Yémen, génératrice d'un grande crise humanitaire, les manifestants ont protesté indiquant que le cargo n'était pas le bienvenu à Cherbourg, ils ont opéré une minute de silence, allongé au sol, pour symboliser la mort.
Le cargo est arrivé au port à 16h et a chargé des containers dans la nuit. On ne sait pas ce qui a été chargé. Il est reparti le 7 février au matin en direction de l'Espagne où les dockers menacent de faire la grève en signe de protestation.

On February 2020, a hundred people, organization, unions and political parts were gathered to protest against the arrival of the Saudi ship "Bahri Yanbu", suspected to charge weapons and to use it against civilians in the war in Yemen. Gathering for peace, against weapon sale and war in Yemen that generate a huge humanitary crisis, people have protested saying the cargo wasn't welcome in Cherbourg while operating one minute silence, layed on the floor to symbolize the death.
The cargo arrived in Cherbourg's harbor at 4pm and have charged containers at night. Information about their content were not disclosed. The ship left in the morning in direction to Spain where dockers threaten to go on stike in sign of protestation.
